Looking for some wine and culture on a Friday evening? Enjoy Steamboat’s wealth of artistic talent at the First Friday Art Walk, a tour organized by local gallery owners from 5 to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of every month. Nearly 20 galleries, businesses and other venues participate, showcasing local art with drinks, appetizers and live music. First Friday Art Walk maps are available at downtown galleries and the Chamber, with participating galleries including Steamboat Creates & Riverwalk Collective at the Depot Art Center, Gallery 89, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, Ohana, Jace Romick Gallery, Steamboat Art Museum, Urbane, Solar Flare Glasswork & Design, Wild Horse Gallery, Tread of Pioneers Museum, Pine Moon Fine Art and W Gallery.
