Settle in Steamboat long enough and you’ll likely meet Dave Wilkinson (AKA Dr. Dave), who heads up the ER department at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center. But when he’s not sewing up cuts he’s cutting loose, as evidenced by this photo friend Scott Fox grabbed of him on St. Patty’s Day. An avid skier, kite boarder, wake surfer/waterskier, motorhead and more, Dr. Dave says his Dr. Jekyll persona is all in the name of enjoying life. “It’s an Irish pirate,” says the good doc. “Jacko Sparo. I love dressing up for celebrations like that.”
