Town Hall Alpine Chaser Sun Hoodie Steamboat’s own Town Hall has a new sunshirt for those river mornings, beach days and time on the trail, a UPF 50+, long sleeve Chaser hoodie that’s sweat-wicking, anti-microbial (perhaps it’s best feature), a cinch to clean and soft as butter. Made in Nepal and designed in collaboration with and printed locally by Kristyn at Origin, it comes with thumbholes and kangaroo pockets and is lightweight and breathable for anything your young-uns’ do in the ‘Boat. And, oh yeah, did we mention its odor resistant barrier? www.townhall.com

Bold Outerwear Steamboat-based Bold is revolutionizing the goggle world. Frustrated by limited options between flimsy $30 goggles and the wallet-crunching $350 ones, they created a premium goggle balancing quality and cost, filling “a glaring gap – an overemphasis on catering to extreme skiers, leaving most enthusiasts out in the cold.” Voila! The Rambler and Morningside, featuring triple-layer foam, anti-fog and -scratch coatings, magnetic lenses for seamless swaps, and VIZ+ tech for crystal-clear vision even on White Out in a white out. www.boldouterwear.com.

Point6 Ski Socks Steamboat’s own Point6 has a new line of merino socks for skiing and riding, designed to keep your feet fresh from alpining to après. The new footwears include the Flow and Mosaic Ultralight, as well as the Track Light and Shadow Medium. As a call-out, we’ll highlight the Flow, an ultra-light 3/4 crew with a multicolor design that adds a pop of style while keeping bulk to a minimum for a smooth, close boot fit. And its merino wool naturally wicks away moisture, regulates temperature, and keeps your feet feeling dry and fresh. www.point6.com

ShovelWax Tired of lifting more weight than you have to when shoveling our Champagne snow? A sore back inspired local Cody Lynn to create Shovelwax, an environmentally conscious lube created from natural soy, candelilla, carnauba, bees wax, and graphite to slicken those shovel blades so snow doesn’t stick. “It was born during the winter of 2023 when I threw my back out from snow sticking to my shovel,” Lynn said of its launch. “After discovering all existing solutions were toxic, I created a non-toxic alternative that protects both our watersheds and our backs.” He now produces about 1,000 bars a day in his garage up in North Routt, with a 50-gallon stainless steel wax melter and shrink wrap machine. Fnd it everywhere from Ace Hardware locally to Amazon and more than 100 retail stores from Alaska to Washington. www.shovelwax.com

The Beer Binding Ski Pole Beer Holder! Be the envy of the lift line and après like a pro with the new Beer Binding, a beer holder which attaches to your pole with a coozie already in place. No more bulky beers in your pockets or pack with this patent-pending design, refined over multiple seasons of testing. It features dual Velcro cinch straps, packs down to stash when not in use, and even fastens to boot buckles or snowboard bindings. It’ll even carry your empty (no more holes in your pockets). Rock them on both poles for sharing. Sure, the beer might get a little shaken up, but so will your après scene. www.beerbinding.com

About the Designer! The Beer Binding was invented by “Raleigh,” a 38-year-old snowboarder operating out of his camper van. “After breaking a rib falling on my snowboard with a beer in my pocket, I needed a better carrying system,” he maintains. “I make them myself in my van. When everyone else reads a book, I make Beer Bindings. It’s supported my snowboarding for four seasons. As someone who’s had exploded backpack beers and broken a rib from a jacket beer, it’s pretty special.”
