Resort Announces Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Line-up

Get ready to get your free spring groove on. Steamboat Ski Resort has unveiled its 25th Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert line-up, which kicks off March 7 at Steamboat Square stage at the Steamboat Resort base. Expect everything from surf guitar to the reggae of the Wailers on closing weekend.

The concerts are scheduled for 3:30-5 p.m. on Saturday afternoons March 7 through April 11 with a final concert by The Wailers on Sunday, April 12. The closing day for the resort is currently scheduled for April 19

The envelope, please…:

  • March 7 – John “Papa” Gros, a longtime pianist and organist who mixes the sounds of New Orleans including funk, traditional jazz, brass band and blues
  • March 14 – J & The Causeways, a New Orleans soul and rock ensemble featuring singer and keyboardist Jordan Anderson
  • March 21 – Wheeland Brothers, Southern California surfers whose sound is a blend of surf rock, reggae, hip hop and acoustic pop
  • March 28 – Sneezy, a funk-soul jam band born out of the Chicago music scene that blends funk grooves, neo-soul rhythms, hip-hop beats and rock energy
  • April 4 – The Sweet Lillies, a quartet of musicians featuring guitar, viola, upright bass, drums, washboard, djembe hand drums and vocal harmonies
  • April 11 – Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel, a Southern rock band whose lead performer spent 10 years playing guitar alongside his father, the late legendary Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts
  • April 12 – The Wailers, who mix Jamaican reggae and urban Latin music and are on a tour called 50 Years of Positive Vibrations
